Teaching and Training about Grief

I have been providing workshops and presentations on grief and loss to the general public, students, and professionals for over 20 years. As a long-time clinician, educator, and researcher I am able to present engaging grief content for any audience and will work with you to create a learning environment that best suits your goals. Possible teaching and training topics include: historical and contemporary grief approaches to grief, grief models and interventions, grief assessment tools, grieving parents, grieving children, and/or grief after sudden or violent deaths such as suicide, homicide and overdose.

Disordered Grief Presentations 

As an experienced Prolonged Grief Disorder Treatment therapist and trainer, and a partner with the Center for Prolonged Grief, I am available to offer workshops and seminars related to understanding the phenomenon of Prolonged Grief Disorder (PGD). Possible topics include: PGD assessment and diagnosis, differentiating PGD, depression, and PTSD, and approaches to treating PGD. Periodically, I offer training and supervision in Prolonged Grief Disorder Treatment (PGDT).

Consultation

I am available to act as a consultant for any grief related projects. This may include activities such as: grief support program development, grief assessment tool selection, and writing, editing and/or review of grief related content for the web or other media.
